However, armed with knowledge about your camera's settings and the properties of light, nighttime photography can be a lot of fun.In this meetup, you'll learn about the best camera settings for nighttime photography. We'll also explore the kinds of light available to us and how to use that light to make some awesome photos. As always, there are exercises that will help you put your new knowledge to work.

Many professional offices and places of business have large prints gracing their wall space of things such as fields of flowers, a butterfly perched on a leaf, and a single dew drop on a rose petal. These beautiful images are all around us in nature. It just takes that special "eye" to not only see it but to capture it in a way that will turn that simple little piece of nature into a beautiful piece of art. We will learn how to use different angles, light and shadows, and settings to make subjects pop.

Many argue that black and white is the true language of photography. In this beginner's introduction to black and white you will learn key skills to improve your black and white photography.
Learn how to set the camera up to take RAW and jpeg and why!
How to set the camera to shoot in black and white as well as how to adjust how the camera uses this mode!
Develop your exposure skills to make the most of black and white by learning exposure compensation and even manual exposure mode.
You also learn different ways to approach black and white depending on weather conditions. Dramatic cloudy skies can be taken advantage of in b/w by correct use of filters, whereas dull over caste days can still make for arresting images, it's all about how you approach it.
Along with mastering B/W you will also learn which techniques suit architecture photography the best. From taking advantage of shape and form, minimalism and the effect of different focal lengths.
Promises to be an exciting meet tasking full advantage of the range of different architecture the area has to offer.
